We now offer TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) for treatment resistant depression and possibly other disorders!

We are one of the few treatment providers in the Huntington, West Virginia area that provide this advanced interventional psychiatry approach.

Using a magnet similar to a MRI in a specially designed helmet, our Brainsway unit delivers a small magnetic pulse that alters the neuronal pathways involved in depression.

TMS may allow patients to decrease the dosage and/or number of medications along with side effects. 

TMS is performed on outpatient appointments that you can drive yourself to and from. 

TMS can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

TMS is an FDA approved treatment consisting of 20 minute sessions 5 days per week for 4-6 weeks.
